my boy is country!

Ha I wish I had a pic but I did not think of it fast enough tonight. Dathen was a cowboy all he needed was a hat! He was riding around on his hourse, playing guiter, yelling yeeha, ride em coyboy, trying to lasue his little brother, which he said was a cow (because that is what cow-boys do). We had country music playing in the back ground and he started singing with it! We asked if he liked counrty and he said it was the "best rock and roll!"
One day, when he is about 14 he will look at us with hateful eyes and say, you made me listen to country, what were you thinking. And now I can repliye, you loved it and one day you will again. Right MOM! :)

Be careful with that country music, Cheryl. After all Dathen might grow thinking that life is all about losing his horse, losing his truck, losing his girl.

Pop Quiz

who sings the song Gone Country!!

You also dont want him just listening to pop thinking that life is all about drugs and chicks and what my parents did wrong.

I think country is the safest music it teaches kids to be true to themselves. Any music written before our time is safer.

But then again how shelttered do you want to go.

I would just rather see them turn into a cowboy rahter then Marlin Manson.

Just my two 2 cents
